Sad Face.

God damn it. It fucking sucks that MJ died. Controversy aside, he was a musical genius. Plus he had the moves. I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, but I can direct people to the attention of my female idol. AFP does a cover of one of my favorite MJ songs, Billie Jean.

Thank you Amanda Fucking Palmer! *heart* Billie Jean is not my lover either.

Big words=Smart

I've been a 311 fan for many years now, but I consider myself very open minded when it comes to music. And I can't help but think about how horribly unfair this article is. Andrew "Garbage Day" Miller gives his full opinion on the band and doesn't hold back in letting readers know what he thinks of not only 311, but the fans as well. I can more than respect his opinion, but he lost his credibility in my eyes when he continuously grouped together 311 listeners and bashed them over the head with a "stoner stick". There's also a few facts he has wrong about the band itself.

Check it.

Calling all DS owners:

Check this shit out...

and this

I believe when this game is released I will become a reclusive troll that fears sunlight and will not merge from my dwelling until I've squeezed dry every possible outcome for each particular in-game puzzle.

On another note...I saw Disney Pixar's "Up" today and it really blew me away. It started, as all Pixar movies do, with a short and sweet animation in the beginning, which acted a prelude to the reaction the whole movie inevitably received. It was such a fantastic movie, if not a little depressing, but it wouldn't be truly Disney if it wasn't. I went into the theater knowing very little about the actual plot. Of my knowledge, it was about an old dude and a boyscout...and I watch the previews trying hard to not think too much on that. But I was really pleased to see that yet again, Pixar had outdone itself. "Up" made me laugh and cry and laugh so hard that I cried. I'm not going to go into the plot but this movie is so endearing and it really leaves you feeling good. And the visual quality ain't bad either. Having an unlikely protagonist blossom into an unsung hero, it's easy for anyone to relate to this movie, and see themselves somewhere in there. Pixar has always been known for it's 'outside the box' thinking and "Up" is a real masterpiece to add to their ever growing collection.

My Rating:10/10

Aime ver.1

Putting some information aside for a project that will hopefully happen in the near future. It's not a top priority though, just something to get started. A friend and I have created so many characters and stories between the two of us that we thought it'd be good to share with the world. Well I'll be submitting in short profiles of some of my characters bit by bit. I'll start with one of my more developed characters, Aime.

Background.
-Aime is the only daughter of a wealthy business owner who ran a corrupt business and a mother who was slightly mentally unstable. Three years after her mother went missing, Aime ran from her home to escape the abuse of her father. Aime then lived on the streets for nearly two years when she is found by Zio at age nine, who convinces her to join up with Siren's gang. She then received her tattoo to symbolize her alliance with the gang. During her years in the gang, Aime discovers that she is naturally proficient with firearms and continues to hone her skills. At age twenty two, Siren's gang is violently broken up because of Zio feeding information to the Kigon Guard. Zio frames her for it and makes his own escape, leaving Aime behind severely wounded. Having been shot twice, she is on her last legs, when she is found by Tobias, who without hesitation, takes her back to the renegade hideout. When her skill in firearms is discovered, she is asked to join up with the three man crew.

Description.
-Aime has a very short fuse and a flaring temper to go with it. It takes very little to set her off and a lot of patients for her to calm down. She is very opinionated and extremely stubborn. She can act very childish at times when it comes to listening to others advice. She likes to do things her own way and hates any sort of authority. She has a lot of trouble trusting others but she truly cares about her comrades.

Relationships.

Nadia.Mother
-Nadia went missing when Aime was four. She is presumed dead.

Clark.Father
-Clark is a dedicated, but crooked, business man. It is suspected that he had his wife, Nadia, killed for her interference in his business.

Anrui.Former Superior/Allie/Friend
-The relationship Rui and Aime share is very unstable at times. She prefers not to be around him most of the time. Overall, Aime does hold him in high respect, and cares about his well being, though she'll never ever show it.

Tobias.Allie/Friend
-Aime is closer with Tobias than anyone she's ever met. The two of them are so compatible together in battle and have great teamwork. They met when Tobias found her in an alleyway after having been shot several times. He saved her life and although she was very ungrateful for it, they became good friends. Though you wouldn't know it by looking at them. Aime is constantly verbally (and occasionally physically) abusing Tobias and always ridiculing his optimistic advice. But on some circumstances when Aime looses sight of things, She'll heed Toby's words and be thankful for it.

KD.Allie/Friend
-Aime treats KD like a little brother, like affectionately roughing him up a little or dishing out 'noogies'. She does recognize his intelligent and inwardly respects him for it.

Kiyoshi.Friend
-Aime has a bit of a soft spot for Kiyoshi. Though she has little patients for his knack of getting into trouble.

Zio.Old Friend/Nemesis
-Aime has a very complicated past with Zio. They were both members of Siren's gang from a young age, and Zio was the one who recruited her for her natural talent in firearms. Growing up in the harsh environment that they did, Aime relied heavily on Zio for protection and support. He taught her to be strong and independent. When they got older, Zio began feeding information about the gang to the Kigon guard and framed Aime for it. She's had enormous trouble trusting anyone since that betrayal.
